Micro Clip-In Hair extensions can follow the same at-home care instructions as other hair extension types, however, this may need to be done less frequently depending on how often you are wearing your Micro Clip-In Hair Extensions.

At Home Hair Care Instructions

• Don’t over-use toning products like purple shampoo. Limit toning shampoo to once a week and keep it away from the top of the extensions. The chemicals in the toning shampoos can break down the keratin and micro weft line.

• Don’t over do the heat! If using flat irons, blow dryers and curling irons then please use a heat protector to prevent breakage. Keep the heat settings on medium-low when possible, and keep the heat away from the bonds and weft line.

• Professional products only: Sulphate, Paraben, Alcohol and Silicon free. 

• To keep the hair tangle free, never, never, never EVER sleep with wet hair…please blow dry before falling asleep. 

• Use mineral sunscreens only that do not contain Avobenzone. Non mineral sunscreens will turn the hair pink or orange. 

• Deep condition at least once a week. It’s all about the moisture.

• Tie your extensions up if you go swimming and use leave in conditioner when out in the sun for long periods of time. 

• Sleep with your hair in a loose bun or braid. Try to use a silk pillowcase or bonnet as well.

• Separate your bonds daily (keratin bonds only)

• Trim your extensions as often as you would your natural hair
