Keratin Tip Bonds aka K-Tip Extensions are installed with an individual, strand-by-strand method using a Fusion Heat Gun to safely melt the keratin tips onto your own hair. Our keratin extensions contain some of the naturally occurring protein that is found in your hair. The keratin fusion is completely customizable and used for lengthening, thickening, and adding variations of color. K-Tips can be re-bonded using the Italian Keratin Glue Beads.

Trim your extensions as often as you would your natural hair
Kesh Hair recommends using 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove K-Tip Extensions. Though 70% may work, we have found 99% to be most effective and can be purchased at most local pharmacy’s.
When an item is on “backorder” it means that the item has finished production and is will be ready to ship out within 10 business days. If you place an order that contains a backordered item, you may notice that your order is placed “on hold”. This means that as soon as your backordered item is ready to ship out, you will receive it within 10 business days. If you need the other items sent out before the backordered item is ready, please place a separate order for the in-stock items.
Yes! We highly recommend using K-Tip Cutters when cutting down the bonds as they help to ensure you are not cutting the hair on the strand, but just the keratin. Kesh K-Tip Extensions can be cut down to ¼’s, 1/3’s, or ½’s to customize your installation based on your clients density. Want to learn more about density and bond size? Yes! K-Tips are suitable for all hair types, even fine-haired clients. This is due to the strand-by-strand installation method and ability to customize your bonds.
Yes! Kesh K-Tip Extensions are reusable. Our premium quality hair lasts 9 months to 1+ year with proper care. To reuse K-Tip Extensions, they must be re-tipped using the Italian Keratin Glue Beads. This is more commonly done to K-Tips that have fallen out before the 12-16 week mark, as re-tipping a full head installation is extremely time consuming and will lose some length during the process.
K-Tip Extensions typically last 12-16 weeks when professionally installed (after this they must be fully removed and re-installed). This will depend on the installation, your hair type, and your lifestyle and at home maintenance. K-Tip Extensions are a great option for clients who prefer less in-salon maintenance than other extension types.
