Our thinnest and most comfortable weft, the micro weft hair extensions are thinner than hand-tied wefts.
Unlike Hand Tied Wefts, Micro Weft extensions can be cut without the weft unraveling
aka ‘the moustache’, Micro weft extensions are free from that itchy return hair found on other machine or hand tied wefts.
Micro Weft extensions are thin and can be stacked on a row without adding bulk! This allows for greater customization.
It’s all about the grams! Does your client want density or length?

For Density: 1-2 packs (50-100g)
For Length: 2-3 packs (100-150g)
22” – each pack of hair is 55g
For Density: 1-2 packs (55g-110g)
For Length: 2-3 packs (110g-165g)
24” – each pack of hair is 60g
For Density: 1-2 packs (60g-120g)
For Length: 3-4 packs (180-240g)
*The longer the extensions are from the natural hair, the more packs you need to increase the density at the ends. This is all dependent on the thickness and length of the clients natural hair.

Double Drawn means that at least 80% of the hair is the same length from weft line to ends. Why not 100%? Because our hair naturally tapers at the ends, and without some shorter hairs, this would result in an unnatural looking blunt end (much like a horse tail).
When an item is on “backorder” it means that the item has finished production and is will be ready to ship out within 10 business days. If you place an order that contains a backordered item, you may notice that your order is placed “on hold”. This means that as soon as your backordered item is ready to ship out, you will receive it within 10 business days. If you need the other items sent out before the backordered item is ready, please place a separate order for the in-stock items.
Yes! Micro Weft Extensions can be cut along the weft line without the risk of shedding.
Micro Weft Hair Extensions lay flat against the scalp and are even smaller than hand tied wefts. The hair is pressed into a polyurethane material which results in a weft line that does NOT have a moustache, and it CAN be cut. You cannot, however, color the weft line. Hand Tied wefts are very delicate and lay flat against the scalp. The hair is tied onto a string by hand. This creates a “moustache” aka return hair and the weft CANNOT be cut. You can, however, color the weft line.
Micro Weft Hair Extensions are pressed into a polyurethane material which results in a weft line that does not have return hair, aka a moustache, and lays flat against the scalp. Micro Wefts are highly recommended for all hair types. High-Vol Machine Wets – Slimline do have a moustache and have a bulkier weft line. They are best suited for medium to thick, higher density hair.
Micro Wefts and Genius wefts are the same. Kesh Hair was one of the first companies in North America to carry genius wefts, branded Micro Wefts by Kesh Hair due to their slim and lightweight wet line.
